Financial Translator

Spanish into English

Your responsibilities: You will translate financial documents for our international client base. You will also be responsible for the quality assurance of these types of texts. You will need excellent writing skills, as many of the documents to be translated are in the area of corporate communications and a good grasp of the financial sector.

Your profile: You are an English native speaker, have translation qualifications (degree level or higher) with Spanish as a source language and you are keen to pursue a career as a translator. Knowledge of a second translation language (preferably French or German) will be distinct advantage. You are able to work under time pressure.

You will be translating Stock Market Research Notes, Annual Accounts, Quarterly results, etc.). As a team player, you will be able to adapt quickly to a new environment, integrate with people from different cultural backgrounds and be a self-starter. An excellent knowledge of common software applications such as MS Office is a prerequisite. You will also have a good working knowledge of Trados applications.
