Ernst & Young held its Swiss Entrepreneur Of The Year award ceremony for the tenth time this year. The anniversary event took place in Lucerne Culture and Convention Centre and was attended by 500 guests from the worlds of business, politics and Swiss society, including Swiss Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard. Doris Marty-Albisser, CEO CLS Communication, was presented with an award for internationally active entrepreneurs with rapidly expanding companies in the service category.
This award fittingly confirms what CLS staff have long known and valued: Doris Marty-Albisser is a manager and entrepreneur with exceptional qualities and skills. She has a wonderful ability to integrate the various disciplines and cultures at CLS. Moreover, she follows her compelling visions, taking appropriate strategic decisions in complex, dynamic business situations, and acting successfully. – Congratulations.
Ernst & Young is the only organisation to hold entrepreneurial award schemes worldwide according to standard criteria. Approximately 10,000 businessmen and women in around 40 countries battle it out every year for the coveted "Entrepreneur of the Year" award. In Switzerland, 15 of the 49 nominated entrepreneurs fulfilled the demanding criteria for selection as Entrepreneur Of The Year and thus reached the final. The candidates are judged by a qualified, independent jury. The criteria include: the candidate's entrepreneurial approach and active position in the company, as well as the company's exceptional growth, innovative approach, international scope and social commitment. The international final will be held in Palm Springs, USA.
