CLS Communication awarded EU quality certification for Translation Services

Madrid, 1 October 2009: CLS Communication Spain has obtained a certificate of compliance with the European Quality Standard for Translation Services (UNE-EN 15038:2006) - including an "excellent" rating on service provision - from AENOR, the country's national standards body.

This standard defines the requirements for the provision of quality services by translation services providers, ranging from the core translation process to other aspects relating to the provision of quality services, such as quality assurance, traceability, complaints handling and file transmission.

A quote from the AENOR report:
"During the certification audit, CLS COMMUNICATION was able to demonstrate its excellence in providing translation services. In particular, we would highlight the company's high score on service quality in terms of:

• its strict control of service processes, including ongoing project tracking;
• its continuous quality control, as another distinctive feature of CLS COMMUNICATION's work;
• its use of CLS Workflow software to manage projects, with multiple options to accommodate different client needs;
• its creation of a comprehensive CLS COMMUNICATION management manual in line with the standard's requirements;
• its management systems, in that they can be accessed not only from the company's own office but also from any place with an internet connection;
• its checklist for new clients."
