Head of Vendor Management

Your responsibilities: You will be responsible for the vendor management sector and, in cooperation with the heads of the various business units, you will determine the targets for recruiting the freelancers and agencies with whom we work. You will define the strategy for your area of responsibility, set up the necessary global structures, processes and systems and see that they are implemented. You will analyse the trends and problems connected with vendor management and will use this information to determine the necessary projects for our company. You will have direct management responsibility for a team of two employees and will be the specialist contact for the individual business unit staff responsible for recruiting and developing external resources.

Your profile: You have a proven track record in a similar role, preferably with a languages services company, and are looking for a new challenge in an international environment. You have sound business knowledge and experience in managing complex projects. As an experienced manager, you are decisive and have strong communication and social skills, particularly in a multicultural, international environment. You have a very good knowledge of German and English. An excellent knowledge of standard software applications such as MS Office and a willingness to travel frequently are essential.
