Banking Translator
German (possibly also French and/or Italian) into English


Your responsibilities: Based directly at one of our clients’ corporate offices in Zurich, you will be the point of contact and translator in all matters relating to the translation of specialist texts in the field of banking, particularly investment banking. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key contacts on site.

Your profile: You are an English native speaker, have translation qualifications (degree level or higher) with German as a source language (possibly also French and/or Italian) and have worked as a translator for several years. Alternatively, you are a banking specialist with English as your native tongue, an excellent knowledge of German (French or Italian in addition would be an advantage) and several years of professional experience. As a team-player, you will be able to integrate quickly into a new environment, get along with people from different cultural backgrounds and be a self-starter. An excellent knowledge of common software applications such as MS Office is a prerequisite. You will also be fully proficient in the Trados suite of products and know how to use them appropriately in your day-to-day work.
