Financial Training Courses for Translators - 14.08.08

Hone your translation skills

CLS Communication Ltd is running financial training courses for translators. The courses are aimed at translators who wish to improve their technical knowledge of financial concepts. The course will cover the key areas encountered by financial translators (macroeconomics, bonds, equities, interest rates, corporate finance, accounting, etc.).
The course will consist of eight 90-minute modules and is offered in two formats (weekly evening classes over eight weeks and intensive 2-day courses).
The course leader is George Witherington, who headed the equity research department of a leading investment bank and has taught finance to post-graduate translation students at a leading university. Various senior in-house CLS translators will be taking part in the course as trainers.
The course is suited to post-graduate translators or established freelancers wishing to hone their financial translation skills. It will be given in English and is open to translators of all languages. To book a place, please fill out a registration form.
