CEO of CLS Named Entrepreneur Of The Year:

Ernst & Young held its Swiss Entrepreneur Of The Year award ceremony for the tenth time this year. The anniversary event took place in Lucerne Culture and Convention Centre and was attended by 500 guests from the worlds of business, politics and Swiss society, including Swiss Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard. Doris Marty-Albisser, CEO CLS Communication, was presented with an award for internationally active entrepreneurs with rapidly expanding companies in the service category.

CLS Communication and the arts:

Every artist speaks his or her own language, but art is universal. Regardless of the form of expression an artist chooses, art is based on skill – and good art conveys its message skillfully. And this applies equally to our subject matter, language. For us to be able to communicate throughout the world, we need skillful translations. The eleventh annual MT Summit will take place at the Copenhagen Business School from September 10 - 14. As the most important event of its type, it assembles professionals from research and development, as well as providers and users of machine translation and related language technologies. CLS Communication strengthens its position in the Danish market:

Plougmann & Vingtoft, one of Europe’s leading intellectual property consulting firms, has outsourced its language and translation requirements to CLS Communication, one of the world’s largest providers of corporate language solutions and specialist in translation, copywriting, terminology management and machine translation. CLS will take over the employment of Plougmann & Vingtoft’s ten in-house translators from 1 September 2007. The move ensures continued quality and cost savings for Plougmann & Vingtoft and strengthens CLS Communication’s position in the Danish market.
