Senior Banking Translator
French/German into English
Your responsibilities: You will translate banking texts, act as lead translator in your own area of expertise and use your skills as a specialist coach to train our junior members of staff. You will also be responsible for cultivating and systematically reinforcing relationships with key client contacts. You will apply your experience as a project leader in the linguistic field in working together with our international clientele.
Your profile: You are an English native speaker, have translation qualifications (degree level or higher) in both French and German as source languages and have worked as a translator in the banking sector for several years. Alternatively, you are an experienced specialist with English as your native tongue, have an excellent knowledge of French and German and several years of professional experience. You will be able to integrate quickly into a new environment, get along with people from different cultural backgrounds and make the most of the scope for personal initiative placed at your disposal. An excellent knowledge of common software applications such as MS Office is a prerequisite. You will also be fully proficient in SDL Trados products and know how to use them appropriately in your day-to-day work. As a self-starter, you will have the necessary skills to deal with our demanding clientele.
